1. Our Commitment To Privacy
J. A. Webb Computer Services (JAWCS) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to privacy to our customers and users of this website. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which JAWCS uses, maintains and discloses information collected from its customers and users of its website.
JAWCS is committed to developing long-lasting relationships based on trust. In furtherance of this goal, JAWCS will do everything in its power to ensure that your right to privacy is maintained and protected.
Our site is protected with up to 256-bit encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to increase the security of our customer’s information. The actual encryption strength is determined by your browser. For example, a Firefox browser enables 256-bit AES encryption.
2. Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
JAWCS will not knowingly:
- Collect online contact information from a user under 13 without prior verifiable parental consent, which includes an opportunity for the parent to prevent use of the information and participation in the activity. When we do not obtain prior verifiable parental consent, online contact information will be used only to directly respond to the child’s request and will not be used to contact the child for other purposes.
- Collect personally identifiable offline contact information from users under 13 without prior verifiable parental consent.
- Distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information collected from children known to be under 13.
- Give the ability to children to participate in forums or chat rooms without prior verifiable parental consent.
- Entice a child under 13 by the prospect of a special game, prize or other activity, to divulge more information than is needed to participate in such activity.

3. The Information We Collect
JAWCS may request or collect personal information from online users in a variety of ways, including through online forms for ordering products and services, and other instances where users are invited to volunteer such information.

On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, if you order a gift online and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient’s address. In this circumstance, the types of personal information we may collect are the recipient’s:
- Name

We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order only to ship the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
4. What are cookies?
JAWCS may also collect information about how users access the website using a tracking ID unique to each user through the use of cookies.
A “cookie” is a small text file that a Web site can place on your computer’s hard drive in order, for example, to collect information about your activities on the site or to make it possible for you to use an online “shopping cart” to keep track of items you wish to purchase. The cookie transmits this information back to the Web site’s computer which, generally speaking, is the only computer that can read it. Cookies used on the JAWCS website do contain personally identifiable information necessary for the shopping cart to function. Many consumers do not know that “cookies” are being placed on their computers when they visit Web sites. If you want to know when this happens, or to prevent it from happening, you can set your browser to warn you when a Web site attempts to place a “cookie” on your computer. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on your computer’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Your browser’s help file contains information and instructions for removing persistent cookies.
5. Log Files

This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. However, none of the information stored in our log files, including but not limited to IP addresses, is linked to personally identifiable information.
6. How We Use This Information
JAWCS may use the personally identifiable information collected by JAWCS to contact customers regarding products and services offered by JAWCS and, to the extent the user has agreed to it, by its trusted affiliates, independent contractors and business partners. In such cases, only statistical information will be disclosed and personally identifiable data will be kept strictly confidential. In case JAWCS is sold, the information collected from users may be transferred to the new owners.
JAWCS may from time to time engage third parties, including its own subsidiaries and affiliated companies, to preserve, analyze or otherwise store or manipulate data received by JAWCS from its customers. In all such cases, third party service providers will be required to treat all such data with the same degree of care as JAWCS and they will be prohibited from disclosing such data to any other person or party, except as otherwise provided for in this Privacy Policy.
